The GMT Master II was developed for avid travelers and luxury watch enthusiasts alike. An innovative 24-hour hand circles the dial and can be adjusted to sync with a second time zone. The 24-hour hand is also independent of the other hands on the dial, ultimately allowing the wearer to read up to three time zones at once. While many collectors might not always need this feature, the sheer technical prowess that it displays, coupled with the watch’s overall utilitarian aesthetic, makes it a cult favorite. This example of the 16710 features a very desirable black dial and bezel set and a brushed stainless steel finish. It was produced around the year 2000 and is in excellent secondhand condition.
