Description
The first Rolex Submariner was introduced to market in the 1950s. At the time of its release, the Submariner was the first wristwatch to offer waterproofness up to 100 meters. This depth rating, of course, would eventually increase to 300 meters, making the Submariner a fixture among the world of professional diving. The ref. 16610V that you see here today is an anniversary Rolex that was released during the 50th anniversary of the Submariner line. Its feature set includes the first instance of a modern Maxi dial on a Submariner watch, a brushed stainless steel finish, and a stunning green aluminum bezel insert. Also known as the “Kermit”, the 16610V has since become a beloved collector’s item among many used Rolex enthusiasts.

It’s quiet, works great, and looks amazing in our room. I was so skeptical at first when I bought it but 1000% glad I did!
