In 2010, Rolex released the latest version of Fake Explorer, which included a larger 39mm Oyster bag as well as enhanced materials and improved movement. While many collectors were pleased with the release of a larger, more modern Explorer, many felt the disc was missing fake watch. As the case increased in size, the hands appeared to be unchanged, making them appear too short and disproportionate. In 2016, an improved variant of ref. 214270 came on the market and introduced longer, more appealing hands over an MK2 – also known as the Mark II – dial and Arabic 3, 6 and 9 hour markers filled with luminous material. The used Rolex 214270 for sale here today has the upgraded hands and markers that many collectors are looking for. It also has a bright Chromalight display, a 904L Oystersteel finish and a 3132 caliber Perpetual Movement.
